Registration Policies
Registration for the 2026 BEER CITY OPEN will once again be a Lottery. Registration will be open from Sunday, April 19th at 8:00 pm until Thursday, April 23rd at 11:55 pm EST. You may register at any point during this period. The timing of your registration will not affect the lottery results, which are scheduled to be released on or before Friday, May 1st, 2026.
You must indicate a partner at registration to be considered for entry into any doubles event. Both you and your partner must be registered and the waiver signed to be eligible for the lottery.
If you are successful, you will be given a period of time to make payment, or you will automatically be moved to the Waitlist.
Please remember to list your partner, and have your partner register as well. In 2025, many entries didn’t do this, and they didn’t get in.
Based on 2025, we should be able to get most, if not all, 50+ entrants into the brackets.
Bracket Information
You may play in Gender Singles, Gender Doubles and Mixed Doubles; however, you are not able to play in multiple age brackets for the same event, even if they are on different days.
We will use DUPR to determine skill levels. You may play down in age and up in skill level if you choose. Keep in mind that the BCO is a “Players Tournament” and playing up in skill level may be challenging. Player ratings are locked in at the time of a player’s registration.
