USA Pickleball is proud to be a SafeSport® trained organization, an important step in reinforcing our responsibility to protect athletes and uphold the integrity of the sport. Through this training, our team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to recognize, prevent, and respond to misconduct across all levels of play.
This work reflects a proactive approach to athlete welfare, ensuring that safety is embedded into every USA Pickleball event, program, and experience.

What is SafeSport?
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and addressing abuse and misconduct in sport. Established in 2017, SafeSport provides education, resources, and accountability measures to protect athletes and strengthen sport culture nationwide.
Through SafeSport training, athletes, coaches, staff, and volunteers learn how to:
- Recognize signs of emotional, physical, and sexual misconduct
- Prevent unsafe or inappropriate behavior
- Respond appropriately when concerns arise
