How It Works?
Each week, you’ll play 1–2 rounds of Up & Down the River during the 2-hour session. In each round, you’ll be grouped with 4–5 players on your court and play one game with each partner. Once all games on a court are completed, players move up or down based on results, and a new round begins with updated groupings. Weekly standings will be tracked, along with cumulative standings throughout the league season.
Why This Format?
USA Pickleball Leagues are designed to create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, from players new to the game to those who can’t get enough pickleball. The Up & Down the River format blends competition with community, helping players build connections, compete with others at a similar skill level, and enjoy a familiar, social atmosphere each week.
League Software
USA Pickleball Leagues are managed through Pickleheads, an Official Technology Partner of USA Pickleball. Players must create a Pickleheads account to participate. Through the app, you’ll be able to RSVP each week, enter scores, track standings, and access league information.
Attendance & Availability
USA Pickleball Leagues run for 6 weeks. Can’t make a session? No problem, just update your RSVP for that week and notify your league organizer.
