April marked another successful celebration of National Pickleball Month as USA Pickleball brought communities together across the country through more than 250 sanctioned events spanning 40 states and Washington, D.C. From introductory clinics and local community play days to competitive tournaments and charitable initiatives, the month highlighted the continued growth of pickleball and the welcoming spirit that defines the sport.

Throughout the month, thousands of players of all ages and skill levels stepped onto the court to experience firsthand why pickleball continues to be one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. More than 6,000 participants took part in National Pickleball Month programming, while USA Pickleball welcomed 4,789 new members during the campaign.
The celebration also generated significant visibility for the sport and the organization nationwide, driving more than 17,000 webpage views, 214,896 social media impressions, more than 500 media mentions, and an earned media reach of 398 million.
National Pickleball Month served as more than just a celebration of the game, it reinforced USA Pickleball’s commitment to growing the sport in an inclusive and accessible way. The month’s events welcomed beginners, competitive athletes, families, youth players, adaptive athletes, and longtime enthusiasts alike, all connected by the belief that Pickleball is for All.
The momentum of National Pickleball Month also aligned closely with the mission of USA Pickleball Serves, the charitable arm of USA Pickleball dedicated to strengthening communities through the sport. This commitment was further amplified through the recently announced a national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), a milestone initiative focused on expanding youth access to pickleball in communities across the country. Through court donations, youth programming, and community-based activations, the partnership represents a meaningful step forward in introducing the next generation to the sport while creating safe, inclusive spaces to play.
Through efforts like BGCA and ongoing Serves initiatives, including court enhancements, equipment support, and grassroots programming, USA Pickleball continues to scale its impact nationwide, ensuring more communities have access to the game and the connection it creates.
As pickleball’s growth continues across the United States, National Pickleball Month remains an important reminder of the sport’s unique ability to bring people together, build community, and create opportunities for connection through play.
